Grape Variety

Petit Verdot Noir

It offers colour and tannins and matures late

Petit Verdot Noir is a grape variety originally from France’s Southwest region, and is characterized by small clusters of small grapes. This is the back-up variety for Bordeaux wines when Cabernet is not available! The plant needs water and grows well in clay-gravel or clay soil.
