Tasting notes

Beautiful deep red in colour. The nose is also deep, yet fine, with floral notes and fruity aromas (strawberry, sour cherry), and nuances evocative of baked goods (vanilla, brioche). Full-bodied on the palate boasting elegant tannins that are typical of the appellation, along with fresh and mentholated notes.

Producer

E. DELAUNAY

Vinification and aging

The grapes are completely destemmed. Fermentation lasts 2 to 3 weeks, with daily punch-down and pump-over. Barrel ageing lasts 15 months.

Terroir

The “Beauregard” climat is located to the north of the village of Santenay, at mid-slope, a plot that is known for producing profound, complex wines. The subsoil is primarily composed of limestone and optimal drainage contributes to highly concentrated grapes
