Tasting Notes
Deeply colored, the nose reveals complex aromas of red fruit. On the palate, velvety tannins are elegant and full-bodied, with spicy notes.
Blend : 85% Malbec, 15% Merlot

Vinification and Aging
Aged 12 months in stainless steel vats.
6 months in bottle before marketing.

Terroir
The vines grow on the gravelly hilltops surrounding the château, on the third terraces of the communes of Caillac and Mercuès. Planting density is very high, at 6666 vines per hectare. This siliceous-clay terroir is ideal for growing vines, producing concentrated wines with great ageing potential.
