1. DELIVERY


1.1 SAQ Clearance

As per the laws of the Province of Quebec, The Société des Alcools du Québec (SAQ) has the exclusive right to import alcoholic beverages purchased from any other jurisdictions, including other provinces of Canada. As such, the delivery process begins once the SAQ provides such clearance to Galleon with respect to the products you ordered.


1.2 In-store Pickup

Orders will be delivered to one of the 145 SAQ locations authorized to handle private imports. Our website will indicate which locations offer Store Pickup. You will be asked to select the SAQ location where you wish to collect your order.


Please note that we currently do not offer home delivery.


1.3 Service fees

The service fees will be paid to GALLEON when your order is placed on our website (galleonwines.ca) and the product cost is payable to the SAQ at the pickup location.



2. RETURNS


GALLEON will exchange any defective product purchased through the website. If we are unable to exchange the product, we will issue a refund.


2.1 Incomplete Order.


We will inform you should it be impossible for us to fulfill the totality of an order that was placed through the website. In such case, we will refund the purchase price of the product(s) as well as applicable delivery charges for that product (including taxes).


2.2 Defective Products.


You must return the defective product (e.g. corked) or broken bottle to an SAQ Store. GALLEON’s refund policy enables you to obtain a refund, or if possible, to exchange the defective product(s) provided that the bottle(s) returned must be at least three-quarters full and bought within the last twelve months. You will be required to provide your sales receipt, a failure which we will not exchange or refund your defective product(s).


2.3 Products in Good Conditions.


A product in good condition may not be exchanged or refund under any circumstances.
