Château Clarke's Merle Blanc boasts a straw-yellow color with golden-green highlights. On the nose, an intense, complex bouquet of sun-ripened citrus fruit and white flowers. After aeration, notes of white peach and redcurrant enrich the ensemble. On the palate, citrus dominates, bringing freshness and liveliness. The perfect balance between roundness and elegance is expressed through full-bodied fruitiness, supported by delicately melted oak.

The grapes are selected and harvested by hand in the cool hours of the morning. A light pressing follows in the cellar. The must is fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats (80%) and partly in new barrels. Finally, the wines are aged for five months in stainless steel vats.

Baron Edmond de Rothschild has reigned over Château Clarke since 1973, when he purchased it from the Irish family of the same name. An enchanting site in the Listrac Médoc appellation, its magnificently structured garden alone bears witness to the nobility of this fertile land. Renowned since the 12th century, the 54-hectare vineyard, located on clay-limestone hillsides, gives pride of place to Merlot, but also produces Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle.
