Tasting Notes
A top-quality red Bordeaux made from 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Vinified by Hubert De Boüard, the 15-hectare vineyard is located on the amphitheater of Castillon La Bataille. Richly extracted, with lovely aromas of black cherry, cedar, black pepper and a seductive chocolate finish. Elegance and finesse with firm yet silky tannins... A Bordeaux out of the ordinary, superbly made!

Vinification and Aging
Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Pre-fermentation maceration at 8°c. Alcoholic fermentation temperature up to 28°c. Rapid run-off after alcoholic fermentation.

Cool clay-limestone with tuffs and marl on the southern slopes, with clay dominating the natural amphitheater.

Orders will be delivered to one of the 145 SAQ locations authorized to handle private imports. You will be asked to select the SAQ location where you wish to collect your order.
Please note that we currently do not offer home delivery.

The service fees will be paid to GALLEON when your order is placed on our website (galleonwines.ca) and the product cost is payable to the SAQ at the pickup location.
