Made from Pinot Noir grapes grown exclusively in the Meurtet plot in Aÿ, this cuvée is one of the first single-vineyard Champagnes ever produced by Champagne Deutz, alongside La Côte Glacière. It pays tribute to the house’s founder, William Deutz, who fell in love with the Aÿ terroir and chose to establish the maison there in 1838.

A celebration of Aÿ’s reputation for exceptional Pinot Noir, the vineyard is wholly owned and meticulously tended by Deutz, ensuring full control over fruit quality. The Hommage à William Deutz Meurtet 2015 captures the character of this remarkable vintage and reflects the perfect ripeness of the Pinot Noirs harvested by the Deutz team.
