  • Tasting Notes

This wine boasts a deep black color with purple highlights, offering an intense, captivating visual experience. Its concentrated nose seduces with aromas of spices, notably black pepper and clove, combined with notes of black fruit jelly, blackberries and graphite. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and fleshy, with velvety tannins providing a silky texture. Tasting reveals remarkable depth and digestibility, with a finish where ripe black fruit flavors mingle harmoniously with hints of cedar, reduced juice and tapenade.

  • Vinification and Aging

Traditional vinification, grapes destemmed. Fermentation lasts 10 days in raw concrete vats. Maceration lasts 4 to 5 weeks.

Aging: The wine is warmed in barrels. The barrels used are demi-muids that have already been filled 4 or 5 times. It spends 12 months in barrel, then 6 months in concrete vats to refine the structure.

  • Terroir

A blend of different terroirs. Coarse-grained stony granite (Tournon granite) on the western slope of Hermitage hill. Poudingue on the eastern slope of Hermitage hill. Fluvial alluvial terrace in the Chassis area.
