Magnificent wine from a 1er Cru terroir. The Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru 2022 offers a robust and generous profile, shaped by its deep soils. Aromas of ripe red and black fruits, including cherry and strawberry, are complemented by a powerful tannic structure that reveals remarkable finesse. This well-structured wine is ideal for cellaring, with its optimal drinking window between 6 and 10 years, promising a beautifully refined evolution.

Vinification and Aging
Vinification : The grapes are hand-harvested and fully destemmed, followed by a 3-day cold maceration before fermentation. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks at temperatures ranging from 25°C to 34°C over 15 to 20 days. A gentle tannin extraction is achieved through punch-downs.
Aging : The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, with 15% new oak, for 12 months. After malolactic fermentation, the wine undergoes racking and blending in stainless steel tanks during the winter on fine lees. Finally, it is filtered and bottled. -
Terroir
Located at the foot of the slope, this terroir is made up of reddish-brown soils composed of limestone and flint debris ("chaillots"). The wine is a blend of two plots: Les Valozières and Les Fournières.
