Tasting Notes
Amour de Deutz Rosé 2013 captivates with its pale pink robe adorned with luminous copper reflections and a delicate stream of fine bubbles. The subtle nose reveals elegant layers of ripe red fruits—strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, and black cherry—gently laced with floral nuances of rose petal. On the palate, the wine is both precise and harmonious, unfolding in a silky, velvety texture balanced by vibrant minerality. Juicy red fruit notes echo through to a long, refined finish marked by complexity and grace. Still youthful, this cuvée shows great promise for cellaring and proudly exemplifies the finesse of the Deutz Trio de Prestige.

Vinification and Aging
Amour de Deutz Rosé 2013 is an elegant blend composed of 58% Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, Aÿ, Bouzy, and Verzenay, and 42% Chardonnay from Villers-Marmery, Avize, and Vertus. Hand-harvested grapes were gently pressed and vinified at the Deutz winery in Aÿ. The cuvée owes its distinctive style and delicate pink hue to the addition of 6% Pinot Noir red wine, crafted from old vines in select plots: ‘La Pelle’ in Aÿ and ‘Cumaine’ and ‘Charmont’ in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.
Aged for 8 years on the lees and a further 9 months post-dégorgement, this rosé reveals remarkable finesse and depth, a reflection of both terroir and time.
